Actually, she died of diabetic kidney failure and I was too ripped up to really go into the whole damn story. Yes, we "let her go". She died curled up in our arms with the help our vet. We let her go because the quality of her life was no longer good; she was blind, she was losing weight rapidly and the kidney disease was causing systemic pain daily. So yes we let her go and she was well settled in love when we did.
