One of the fellows I message had posted this weekend about Don Imus' defense of Hank Williams, Jr. who'd made a shitty comment about Pres. Obama and likening him to Hitler. It's a typical stinker of a comment and totally wrong. In my comments back, I mentioned that I've been waiting 50 years so see this kind of thinking die. End. His response was he didn't think it would ever die. I guess he's right. But the one thing I know is bigotry is a choice. Bigotry is something people embrace voluntarily. It's not MY choice.
