Today the AP reported that the pretty girl who 'wowed' the crowd singing China's national anthem lip synched it -- with another girl's voice singing. Apparently the real singer had crooked teeth or something and some Party hac... er, official, thought she wasn't lovely enough.
They faked some of the fireworks from their opening show too...
It's pretty damn shameful to me.
How many other Potemkin moments will China give the world?
Ummm.... maybe I shouldn't ask. After all, China is one of the top countries in the world when it comes to producing pirated products. IE: FAKES!
